Sunburns

Seeing as I'll be away in the Dominican Republic within 24 hours, I found a topic on sunburns would be quite fitting. A 2 week vacation over Christmas, what more could one ask for?

Getting sunburns happens - check it out:

Urinary Incontinence

I can remember the days when I was a kid, wetting the bed wasn't a common experience, but it wasn't exactly non-existent either. I ceased to wet the bed at a young age as well, but let's discuss the fact that it still happens to kids (and adults) everywhere.
I hope this helps - the source, as usual is BodyHealing.com

Toothaches

I can remember the last time I had a toothache, it was right after I hurtled myself into a doorknob at a great speed, and I managed to keep the teeth in my mouth. But I remember the great pains it caused me for a week or two. Most people don't get toothaches like this, rather, more naturally I suppose.

Osteoporosis Sucks

I remember watching the Tom Green Show a few years back, on one of his skits he went to an Osteoporosis awareness event... as a news anchor. All I recall was him screaming "OSTEOPOROSIS SUCKS.... CHANNEL 4 RULES", over and over again.

Anyways, Osteoporosis is a serious disease. So let your grandmothers know - Osteoporosis is on the loose!

How to Beat Jet Lag, Naturally

Jet Lag? =
Truth: "It is quite normal to experience jet lag when traveling through multiple time zones."

False: "I can't help it."

While traveling on a plane, you'll be sitting for a long period of time, in a compressed cabin space, for miles and miles. Not to mention the turbulence or motion sensitivity can make you ill (good thing for the sick-bags).

So how do I beat jet lag the natural way?

That Lazy Eye

We've all seen them before. The gaze of someone with a lazy eye. Not quite sure which eye to look at, I am usually careful not to look at either eye, instead just staring at the bridge of the nose. Lazy eye starts off at a pretty young age, and can actually cause blindness if it isn't corrected.

Diabetes Care

Diabetes. Or, as Wilford Brimley would say, "Diabeetus". It affects a ton of people in the world, and a few people that I know. It isn't as harsh of a disease as it sounds, but still it's not very pleasant to have. Diabetes has a lot to do with blood sugar content, and the symptoms include:
Intense thirst and an uncommonly frequent need to urinate develop as a result of the urine's high sugar content. Constant fatigue, itchy skin and blurred vision are other problems that appear.
Source: Diabetes Symptoms

The long and short of it is, that if you aren't careful in your sugar consumption, you're at a high risk of getting diabetes. Insulin is the junk that typically removes sugar from the blood.

Eating a lot of baked goods, candy, and drinking a lot of soda is really bad for you in the first place, but it is also very much linked with diabetes.

Insulin is not always necessary. Diabetes can be treated through diet, like stop eating simple sugars so that you raise your glucose tolerance, and allowing your blood sugar level to elevate.

Cellu-lighten Up

Everyone is able to get this. Men - don't even think you are exempt from this.

Cellulite is an all to common appearance on surfaces of the skin, like the buttocks, upper arms and thighs too.

Why you get cellulite: basically, toxins creep in, and go nuts on your system. Well, not really, but it would be kinda cool to explain it like that. It's related to low intake of fluids (like WATER), or constipation or just an overall bad diet. Weight gain also plays a hand in this game. So you want to get rid of that cellulite, eh? You can start by reducing your body fat, for one. This is done through exercise (who would have though?) and also by a change of diet - so stop eating so many damn cheeseburgers and fries. Here is a list of what you should be eating to reduce cellulite - cellulite nutrition.

Just thought I'd squeeze out one more issue that's relative to today's self-image obsessed youth. Don't starve yourself. That's lazy.

Edit: This is totally different from cellulitis.

The Barber's Itch

Not everyone has heard about this nasty disease - because not everyone is really proud of having it. It's called Folliculitis, or in regular terms it's the Barber's itch. What it is is basically hair follicles that have pimple-like things that grow over them and block the hair from growing out. This can cause itching, pain, and irritation of the skin. Pretty gross if you ask me, but there are plenty of ways of curing or treating this disease. It affects literally millions of people, but some people don't even realize it. Funny or not, this disease can be treated easily.

It covers the beard-area, so if you have a nasty neckbeard, you might want to watch out for this. You could end up with a neckbeard of acne, and you would be kind of embarrassed, I guess. Luckily for you there's medicine and stuff.

Since I'm not completely an expert on this topic I chose to do some reasearch to make a more qualitative blog post - Barber's Itch. This site is what I base a portion of my research on, they actually have some valuable info on there regarding symptoms, causes, some proper nutrition guides to prevent barber's itch, and some products, etc.

Name-brand products for barber's itch.
